The
Reformed Church Women’s Guild is an organization for all
the women of the church. We have
four socials each year and five circles that meet monthly for Bible study and
fellowship.
Our
fund raising efforts include pie making, flower sales, a craft sale, bake sale,
and an Attics Treasures Sale (indoor garage sale) and others.
As
a result of our fundraising we have a replaced windows in Friendship Hall,
purchased items for the manses and church office.
Also we have paid for carpeting for the rooms on either side of the
sanctuary and had new covers put on the kitchen light fixtures.
Our
outreach includes a Girl Scout Campership, an annual Project Timothy donation, sponsoring
a child through Compassion, the Reformed Church Home, and the Reformed
Churches Women’s Service project for battered women’s shelters.
We
serve when asked at funeral repasts and church programs and in general, support
the work of the church.
If
you are not already active in "THE GUILD", and are interested in the
