Beliefs:
We Believe the Bible to be the Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice. We believe in Jesus Christ as the
Son of God and the Savior of those who have faith in Him. We believe
in the historic Christian faith as confessed in the Apostles' Creed. The Heidelberg
Catechism, a sixteenth-century evangelical statement of faith, has played a
particularly important role in our history.
Our church is governed by elders and deacons who, together
with the pastor, form the consistory.

Statement
of Belief
We believe that God who
reigns supreme loves us and judges us, that Jesus Christ is our
Lord and Savior, and that the Holy Spirit permeates all creation
and lives in each of us. We believe that Jesus will come again.
We are God's imperfect children and yet God has
promised us eternal life through Jesus Christ; by His grace alone
we are saved. God is ever present and nothing can separate us from
God's love. We are all children of God who need to live in
fellowship with God and each other.
All things are possible with God's help. God
calls us to act; we have power, through prayer, we are to be
redeemers and reconcilers, loving and forgiving because God loves
and forgives us. We are to be individual missionaries continuing
to live each day as faithful witnesses and growing Christians,
being sensitive and ever mindful to the needs of others. We are
disciples of Christ who believe the teachings of the Bible and
recognize the importance of worshipping together. We are called to
be evangelists and stewards of God's gifts, sharing our knowledge
of God's gift of eternal life with the world and sharing ourselves
through our God given talents and possessions.
God seeks to bring all men to Himself, enabling
them, through the working of the Holy Spirit, to participate
responsibly as renewed persons in the Kingdom and thus to share in
the promises of the Kingdom both now and forever.
